Enzyme peels provide gentle protein-based exfoliation; mandelic is a mild AHA that targets texture and pigmentation; lactic offers hydrating exfoliation; TCA is a deeper option for more intense surface issues like acne scarring and sun damage.
Your provider chooses the peel based on how aggressively cells need to be sloughed and how the skin barrier tolerates exfoliation. We monitor application time and response to avoid over-exfoliation and preserve the barrier. Treatments are selected to address specific concerns while minimizing risk to sensitive or reactive skin types.
Choosing the right peel for you
Different peels trade off gentleness and depth. Enzyme and lactic peels suit dry or sensitive skin that needs brightening without irritation. Mandelic is useful for pigmentation and acne-prone skin because it’s a milder AHA. Treatment flow and aftercare
This service is an add-on only, applied in the middle of a primary treatment and designed to take 15 minutes. The add-on fee is $55. A trained provider assesses your skin immediately before application, selects the appropriate peel, watches your skin during the process and adjusts as needed to keep exfoliation controlled and comfortable.
Aftercare focuses on barrier support and sun protection: expect temporary redness or sensitivity depending on peel depth, use gentle, hydrating products and consistent sunscreen, and avoid intense sun exposure while skin recovers. We’ll give tailored aftercare instructions and recommendations during your visit to help you maintain results safely.
