Get answers to common questions about DERMAPLANING FACIAL.
Dermaplaning is ideal for most skin types seeking smoothness and brightness, but not recommended for active acne, inflamed rosacea, or open wounds. A consultation will assess your skin and determine if the facial is safe and beneficial for your individual concerns.
Expect about 60 minutes for the full Dermaplaning Facial. Our multi-step process includes double cleansing, exfoliation, dermaplaning, extractions, serums, moisturizing, and warm shoulder stones for a relaxing, comprehensive treatment and aftercare guidance.
Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair and dead skin cells, but it is not permanent. Hair will regrow at the same texture and rate; most clients notice smooth skin for several weeks and return for maintenance every four to six weeks.
Downtime is minimal; you may experience mild redness or sensitivity for a few hours. Avoid direct sun, harsh exfoliants, or strong active ingredients for 48–72 hours. We'll provide aftercare instructions and recommend sunscreen to protect freshly treated skin.
We avoid dermaplaning over active inflammatory acne or open lesions to prevent irritation or infection. If you have hormonal breakouts, a customized plan will be recommended—sometimes medical treatments or calming facials precede dermaplaning when skin is stabilized.
For optimal results, schedule dermaplaning every four to six weeks. Frequency depends on individual hair regrowth, skin sensitivity, and goals; our specialists will recommend a personalized maintenance plan to preserve smooth texture and sustained radiance.
